We hope this sign invokes nostalgia like it does for us. The iconic shape, color and font was originally designed by Virgil “Bus” Carrell in the 1960s and has been a classic image for American road trips every since. Growing up in the Sacramento valley, this sign also meant our mountain campsite wasn’t far away. No need to ask dad “how much longer”when this passed out the window of our station wagon.
